The pureWash is indeed another one of my favorite things, mostly because the full name of this device is pureWash Eco-Friendly Laundry System which has "eco-friendly" in the name. (By the way, the use of the lowercase "p" and uppercase "W" is the correct way to spell it.) There are other reasons to love this revolutionary device, like cost saving and health benefits, but we'll get to those later.
What's so eco-friendly about the pureWash? Let me start with the fact that it uses no detergent! Rather, you don't use any detergent when you wash your clothes, linens, etc. Seriouly. You don't need to. You don't need to use bleach or fabric softener either.
In just saying that, you can imagine where the savings come into play. But more on that below....
pureWash laundry systems us mother nature's process for cleaning. An electrical current (don't worry, it's small) converts old-fashioned cold water into ozone. That's the key. Ozone is the natural world greatest cleaning agent. It also adds enhanced oxygen to the cold wather and fancy-sounding Photo Catalytic Oxidizers. That's what chemical detergents are for in the first place.
I know, I know...it sounds crazy. It's not what your mom taught you. But, it works.
Without the need for chemicals, you don't pollute the planet every time you do a load of laundry. All those chemicals have to go somewhere, and they go into the septic system, and many times right into our shared water supply - like lakes, streams and rivers.
The health benefits are there as well. How many of you are sensitive or allergic to chemical soaps? Many of us are. And with the pureWash, you don't have to worry about that any longer.
